MC-B Normally Open Magnetic Reed Switch – 9m Cable
The JHEN MC-B is a normally open (NO) magnetic reed switch designed for position detection in compatible laser engraving and cutting machines. It provides a contact signal in response to a magnetic field, making it a replacement option for compatible door-position monitoring and equipment sensing applications.
Featuring a compact black sensor housing, integrated mounting bracket, and 9-meter cable, the MC-B provides flexible installation for systems requiring an extended cable reach. Its two-wire connection allows integration with compatible control circuits that use a normally open magnetic contact.
Key Features
- Normally open (NO) magnetic reed switch configuration
- Contacts close when activated by an appropriate magnetic field
- 9-meter cable for extended installation reach
- Two-wire connection with stripped wire ends
- Compact black sensor housing
- Integrated mounting bracket with two slotted holes
- Suitable for compatible magnetic position-detection circuits
- Replacement option for equipment using a matching MC-B sensor

Compatibility & Installation
The MC-B is intended for equipment requiring a compatible normally open magnetic reed switch. Before ordering, verify your existing switch model, contact configuration, electrical requirements, mounting arrangement, and cable length.
Important: The MC-B normally open switch and MC-BC normally closed switch have different contact configurations and should not be assumed interchangeable. Select the switch required by your equipment's control circuit.
Disconnect equipment power before installation. Mount the sensor securely and route the cable away from moving components and high-voltage wiring. Verify the switching operation and complete equipment safety functions before returning the machine to service. An unverified general-purpose reed switch should not be relied upon as the sole safety protection.
