CHINT DZ47LE-32 C10 10A RCBO Circuit Breaker – 230V, 30mA

The CHINT DZ47LE-32 C10 circuit breaker is a residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) designed for compatible electrical systems operating at 230V AC. It combines overload, short-circuit, and electrical-leakage protection in one compact device.

Rated at 10 amps with a Type C trip curve, this breaker is designed to respond to excessive circuit current while accommodating brief startup current in appropriately rated equipment.

Its 30mA residual-current sensitivity provides additional protection by detecting current imbalance between the line and neutral conductors. When a qualifying fault occurs, the breaker is designed to disconnect the circuit.

The unit features a blue ON/OFF operating lever, an orange leakage-test button, line-and-neutral connections, and a DIN-rail mounting design for installation in compatible electrical enclosures.

Important: This breaker must match the electrical requirements of the equipment and the original protective device. A matching 10A rating alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Understanding RCBO Protection

An RCBO combines the functions of a traditional circuit breaker and a residual-current protective device.

Overload Protection: When connected equipment draws excessive current for a sufficient period, the breaker is designed to disconnect the circuit to help prevent overheating and electrical damage.

Short-Circuit Protection: When a qualifying short circuit causes a sudden increase in current, the breaker responds to interrupt the fault within its rated breaking capacity.

Residual-Current Protection: The breaker monitors the difference between current flowing through the line and neutral conductors. A qualifying imbalance can indicate electrical leakage and cause the breaker to trip.

The 30mA sensitivity offers an additional layer of protection against certain electrical faults. However, it does not eliminate all electrical-shock risks or replace proper grounding, wiring, and other required safety measures.

Built-In Test Button

The orange T button is designed to test the breaker's residual-current trip mechanism under the conditions specified by the manufacturer.

When the breaker is correctly installed and supplied with the required electrical power, operating the test button should cause the device to trip.

The residual-current protection should be tested according to the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.

Important: If the device fails a prescribed test, do not rely on it for electrical protection. Have the circuit and breaker inspected by a qualified electrician.

Compatibility

This breaker is intended for compatible laser machines and electrical systems requiring a DZ47LE-32 C10, 230V AC, 10A, 30mA RCBO with the appropriate circuit configuration and breaking capacity.

Before ordering, compare the replacement breaker with your original component:

  • Manufacturer and model number
  • 10A rated current and Type C trip curve
  • 230V AC voltage rating
  • 30mA residual-current sensitivity and applicable detection type
  • 6kA short-circuit breaking capacity
  • Line-and-neutral terminal configuration
  • Physical dimensions and DIN-rail mounting requirements
  • Wiring diagram and installation requirements
  • Applicable electrical codes and equipment requirements

Important: Breakers with similar housings or identical C10 markings may have different leakage ratings, trip characteristics, terminal arrangements, or protective capabilities.

Do not substitute a breaker with a higher amperage rating or different protective characteristics without approval from a qualified electrical professional.

Installation & Safety

  • Installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified electrician familiar with the equipment and applicable electrical requirements.
  • Disconnect and isolate the electrical supply before accessing the machine's electrical cabinet.
  • Verify that all affected circuits are de-energized using appropriate testing equipment.
  • Confirm that the replacement breaker matches the original circuit protection requirements.
  • Mount the breaker securely on a compatible DIN rail.
  • Connect the line, neutral, and load conductors according to the diagram and terminal markings on the device.
  • Use properly sized conductors and the manufacturer's specified terminal tightening torque.
  • After installation, perform all required electrical and protective-function tests before returning the equipment to service.

Safety Note: If the breaker trips repeatedly, do not continue resetting it without investigating the cause. Repeated tripping may indicate damaged wiring, excessive load, current leakage, or a failing electrical component.

The breaker must not be bypassed or modified to prevent tripping. Electrical protection components are essential to safe machine operation.
