573S15-L 3-Phase Stepper Motor with Timing Pulley
The 573S15-L is a three-phase stepper motor designed for compatible CO2 laser engraving and cutting machines, CNC equipment, and other motion-control applications.
Featuring a standard NEMA 23 frame and a 1.2-degree step angle, this motor is designed to provide controlled, repeatable movement for machine axes. The pictured configuration features a timing pulley mounted on the motor shaft for transferring motion to a compatible belt-driven system.
Key Features
- Three-Phase Motor: Designed for use with a compatible three-phase stepper motor driver.
- 1.2-Degree Step Angle: Provides 300 full steps per revolution for controlled positioning.
- NEMA 23 Frame: Standard 57mm-class mounting format for compatible motion-control equipment.
- Installed Timing Pulley: The pictured configuration allows connection to a compatible belt-driven motion system.
- Hybrid Stepper Design: Provides holding torque and repeatable motor positioning when properly driven.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable for compatible laser gantry systems, CNC equipment, and industrial motion-control assemblies.

Compatibility
This motor is intended for three-phase stepper motor systems. It is not a direct replacement for a two-phase bipolar stepper motor without a compatible driver and appropriate system configuration.
Before ordering, verify the original motor model, step angle, electrical ratings, mounting dimensions, shaft and pulley arrangement, belt pitch, and pulley tooth count.
Confirm that the machine's stepper driver and controller support the electrical and motion requirements of the replacement motor.
Installation & Setup
- Disconnect machine power before removing or installing the motor.
- Record the original motor wiring and driver settings before removal.
- Confirm mounting-hole alignment and available clearance.
- Check pulley alignment, belt pitch, and belt tension before operation.
- Verify proper wiring to a compatible three-phase stepper motor driver.
- Test machine movement at reduced speed before returning to normal operation.
Troubleshooting
Common symptoms of stepper motor or motion-system problems include inconsistent movement, missed steps, excessive vibration, unusual operating noise, and inaccurate positioning.
These symptoms may also result from incorrect driver settings, wiring problems, mechanical binding, pulley misalignment, or improper belt tension. Check the complete motion system before replacing the motor.
