DZ47LE-32 C10 10A RCBO Circuit Breaker

The DZ47LE-32 C10 is a residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, commonly called an RCBO. It monitors the electrical load while also checking for current escaping from the intended circuit path.
If the breaker detects an overload, short circuit, or sufficient electrical leakage, it disconnects the circuit to help reduce the risk of equipment damage, overheating, electrical shock, and fire.
This replacement breaker is rated for 10 amps at 230VAC and is designed for compatible single-phase laser machine electrical systems.
Three Types of Circuit Protection
Unlike a standard miniature circuit breaker, this RCBO provides three important forms of protection:
- Overload protection when the circuit draws excessive current over time
- Short-circuit protection when a sudden high-current fault occurs
- Residual-current protection when electricity leaks toward ground or a machine enclosure
The DZ47LE series combines a miniature circuit breaker with a residual-current release to provide leakage, overload, and short-circuit protection.
Understanding the C10 Rating
The 10 identifies the breaker’s rated current of 10 amps.
The C identifies its Type C trip curve. Type C breakers are designed to tolerate brief startup current from compatible electrical equipment while still responding to overloads and short circuits.
A replacement breaker must match the original current rating, trip curve, voltage, leakage sensitivity, breaking capacity, terminal arrangement, and physical mounting style.
30mA Leakage Protection
The breaker has a rated residual operating current of 30mA, shown on the unit as IΔn 0.03A.
This means the RCBO monitors the difference between current entering and leaving the circuit. When the detected difference reaches its operating threshold, the breaker trips and disconnects the circuit.
The unit is marked with a leakage trip time of 0.1 second or less.

Built-In Test Button
The orange T button allows the leakage-protection function to be tested after installation. Pressing the test button should cause a properly powered and correctly wired breaker to trip.
The manufacturer’s instructions recommend testing the residual-current function after installation and periodically during use. A breaker that does not trip during the test should be inspected and replaced when necessary.

The C10 marking alone does not confirm that this is the correct replacement. Breakers with the same amperage may have different:

Important Installation Information
Disconnect the machine from its electrical supply before inspecting or replacing internal electrical components.
The line and neutral terminals must be connected according to the wiring diagram printed on the breaker. Incorrect line, load, or neutral wiring can prevent the leakage protection from working properly and may damage the device. Installation should be completed by someone experienced with electrical systems.
If the new breaker trips again, do not repeatedly reset it. The machine may have an overload, damaged wiring, failed component, current leakage, or another electrical fault that needs to be diagnosed.
