The DZ47-63 C20 is a two-pole miniature circuit breaker designed to protect compatible machine circuits from overloads and short circuits. When electrical current exceeds the breaker’s operating limits, the breaker trips and interrupts power to help protect wiring and connected components from further damage.

Its linked two-pole design disconnects both poles together, while the standard 35mm DIN-rail mounting allows it to install inside compatible laser machine electrical cabinets.

Understanding the C20 Rating

The 20 identifies the breaker’s rated current of 20 amps.

The C identifies its Type C trip curve. A Type C breaker is designed to handle brief startup current from compatible electrical equipment while still providing overload and short-circuit protection.

Compatibility Is More Than Amperage

A 20A marking alone does not confirm compatibility. Breakers with the same amperage may have different trip curves, pole counts, voltage ratings, interrupting capacities, terminal layouts, and physical dimensions.
