CW-5000 Refrigerated Water Chiller for CO₂ Laser Machines – 120VAC
CW-5000 Refrigerated Water Chiller for CO₂ Laser Machines
Protect your CO₂ laser tube with dependable, actively controlled water cooling.
The CW-5000 is a compressor-based refrigerated water chiller designed to circulate and cool the water flowing through a glass CO₂ laser tube. Unlike a basic radiator-style cooling system, the CW-5000 can lower the coolant temperature below the surrounding room temperature and maintain a more stable operating range during engraving and cutting.
Stable cooling is especially important during longer jobs, warmer shop conditions, and repeated production runs. Excessive heat can reduce laser performance and shorten the working life of a glass laser tube. The CW-5000 helps manage that heat by continuously circulating coolant through a closed loop while monitoring water temperature and flow.
This 120VAC model is commonly used with higher-power CO₂ laser systems, including many 80W and 90W machines.
Why Choose the CW-5000?
The CW-5000 provides true refrigerated cooling rather than relying only on room-temperature air to remove heat. Its compressor, temperature controller, circulation pump, and built-in protection features work together to provide more consistent cooling for demanding laser applications.

Built-In Equipment Protection
The CW-5000 monitors coolant circulation and temperature while the laser is operating. Its alarm system can alert the operator to conditions such as restricted water flow, low coolant, excessive water temperature, low water temperature, or a sensor problem.
When properly connected to a compatible laser machine, the chiller’s alarm output can help interrupt laser operation when adequate coolant circulation is not detected.
Important Operating Information
Always fill the chiller with an approved coolant before turning it on. Running the circulation pump without fluid may damage the pump.
Place the chiller in a clean, well-ventilated area. Leave adequate open space around the air inlet and exhaust so heat can escape properly. Regularly inspect the coolant level, tubing, connections, and air filter.
Avoid setting the water temperature unnecessarily low. Water that is much colder than the surrounding air can cause condensation to form on the laser tube and coolant lines.
