- Emails - Technicians can responded to the questions within minutes or overnight ... as reasonable. This can be the most detailed situation. - On-Line computer connection - Sometimes the situation just calls for the ability for a technician to take over the customer's computer. This works great when the technician needs to quickly install software, driver, configuration, diagnostics ...etc. We know that it could be very convenient for the technician to just say, "Let me show you this...".

The "Help Desk" software is a utilization of the UltraVNC SC(SingleClick) system as a customizable mini UltraVNC server for download. This is very convenient for help desk support because the customer doesn't need any preinstalled remote control software. The customer just needs to download the scottware_UVNC_HelpDesk.exe file (UltraVNC SC mini-file) and start remote controlling. At the end of the remote control session, UltraVNC SC deinstalls itself and leaves the computer without additional software. The connection is secure because the customer innitiates the program... and requests connection to the technician. UltraVNC is Free and distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. The connection has been tested to be completely safe. There are no spy-ware files.
